“Taishan” flagship PHEV SUV with a 65 kWh battery

Voyah, the premium new energy vehicle brand under Dongfeng Motor Corporation, today officially unveiled the first official images of its new flagship SUV, internally codenamed “Taishan.”

The new model will feature a six-seat configuration and be powered by Voyah’s smart hybrid system. It comes standard with a 65 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 370 km and a combined range exceeding 1400 km. The SUV will be equipped with four LiDAR sensors, integrating Huawei Qiankun ADS 4, alongside air suspension and rear-wheel steering.

While its official name is yet to be announced, information from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology suggests it may be named “Voyah 9L Taishan.” Upon its market launch, the new flagship is expected to challenge premium models such as the Aito M9 and Zeekr 9X. CarNewsChina estimates its price to start around 450,000 yuan (62,000 USD).
