The Xpeng G7 mid-size electric SUV delivered 10,000 units 41 days after its sales had started in China. This crossover offers a range of up to 702 km, a 218 kW (292 hp) electric motor, and an in-house developed Tuing AI chip for 2,250 TOPS. Its starting price for the domestic market is 195,800 yuan (27,270 USD).
The Xpeng G7 entered China on July 3, becoming the brand’s current seventh model. On the same day, the G7 made headlines by receiving 10,000 firm orders in 9 minutes after the launch event. On August 13, Xpeng officials shared that the deliveries of their newest SUV reached 10,000 units in China.

According to China EV DataTracker, Xpeng delivered 5,529 G7 crossovers last month. This model started deliveries on July 7. So, Xpeng sold around 230 units of its newest SUV daily. It is worth noting that this Chinese brand reached the all-time highest monthly delivery volume in July 2025 with 36,717 vehicles sold. The Xpeng G7 SUV captured 15% of this number.

On August 13, Xpeng officially announced that it delivered 10,000 units of the G7 SUV. Its deliveries reached 4,471 so far in August. This month, Xpeng G7’s average daily sales volume rose by 49.6% to 344 vehicles. According to the Xpeng App, the G7’s delivery waiting time in China lies in a 2 – 4 week range.
The brand’s representatives shared that over 50% of customers order the top-of-the-line Xpeng G7 Ultra trim level. Its domestic price is 225,800 yuan (31,450 USD). This trim level offers three Turing AI chips for 2,250 TOPS. Xpeng officials also highlighted that the G7 became the bestselling all-electric SUV with a price range of 200,000 – 250,000 yuan (27,860 – 34,820 USD).

The Xpeng G7 is a mid-size five-seat SUV with dimensions of 4892/1925/1655 mm and a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. It comes standard with a 218 kW (292 hp) electric motor in the rear axle. The G7 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. There are two battery options available: a 68.5 kWh battery for 602 km of CLTC range and an 80.8 kWh battery for 702 km of CLTC range.
The entry-level Xpeng G7 features two Nvidia Drive Orin chips with 508 TOPS (trillion operations per second). However, the top trim variant offers three Xpeng’s in-house developed Turing AI chips for 2,250 TOPS. For clarity, the ADAS chip of the Xiaomi YU7 provides 700 TOPS, while the Tesla Model Y has a chip for 720 TOPS. Xpeng officials previously stated that the G7 Ultra supports the L3-ready driver’s assistance model.
The interior of the Xpeng G7 adopts an 87-inch augmented reality head-up display. It also has a large 15.6-inch floating touchscreen powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chip. Other highlights of the G7’s cabin are dual 50W wireless phone charging pads, a 7.1.4 sound system with 20 speakers, a 9-inch streaming rear-view mirror, and a password-protected 5.9-liter glovebox.
