Lotus launches refreshed Emeya sedan and Eletre SUV models, starting at 74,800 USD

Lotus officially launched the updated Emeya and Eletre models on September 21st. The new Emeya is available with a starting price of 538,000 yuan (74,800 USD), while the Eletre begins at 558,000 (77,600 USD).

The refreshed Lotus Eletre

As a minor facelift, the new Lotus Eletre maintains its overall design from the previous model but now features more dynamic black badging. The vehicle’s dimensions remain unchanged, measuring 5103mm in length, 2019mm in width, and 1636mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3019mm.

An upgrade across the Eletre lineup is the standard fitment of 22-inch 10-spoke grey forged wheels. The 600 and 600 SE variants are equipped with 6-piston fixed front and floating rear callipers, while the top-tier 900 model boasts a high-performance 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking system.

Inside, the Eletre’s interior design also remains consistent. In terms of features, the 600 and 600 SE models include 12-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, and a 15-speaker KEF Premium audio system. The 600 SE further adds a PDLC smart panoramic sunroof, 20-way power-adjustable front seats, front seat massage function, and active rear-wheel steering. The 900 model builds upon the 600 SE’s offerings with an intelligent anti-roll control system, among other advanced features.

Under the hood, the 600 and 600 SE models feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a combined output of 450 kW (603 hp) and 710 Nm of torque. Paired with a single-speed transmission, these models accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. They are powered by a 112 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 650 km. The flagship 900 model also utilises a dual-motor setup, with a more potent 675 kW (905 hp) of power and 985 Nm of torque. This variant is equipped with a two-speed transmission, achieving 0-100 km/h in 2.95 seconds. It also features a 112 kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC range of 560 km.

The new Emeya’s exterior design is also unchanged, with dimensions mirroring its predecessor: 5139mm in length, 2005mm in width, and 1464mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3069mm. All Emeya models now come standard with 21-inch 10-spoke grey forged wheels. The 600 and 600 SE models are fitted with 6-piston fixed front and floating rear callipers, while the 900 model features a 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking system.

The interior design of the Emeya also carries over from the previous model, featuring a 15.1-inch OLED central control screen and a 55-inch AR-HUD that displays road information, navigation, and assisted driving data.

Powertrain specifications for the Emeya remain consistent across the lineup, with all models employing a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The 600 and 600 SE variants produce a combined 450 kW (603 hp) of power and 710 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.15 seconds. These models are equipped with a 102 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 585 km. The 900 model delivers 675 kW (905 hp) of power and 985 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 2.78 seconds. It also utilises a 102 kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC range of 530 km.
