If there’s one supercar maker that has never been shy about embracing its wilder side, it’s Lamborghini. The Italian marque has long thrilled its wealthy clientele with special creations such as the recent Fenomeno, and it shows no signs of easing off. More surprises are already being hinted at across its core lineup, including the Urus, Temerario, and Revuelto.

Federico Foschini, Lamborghini’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, offered some insight into what lies ahead. He pointed to the success of cars such as the hardcore Huracan STO and the lifted Huracan Sterrato, describing them as “immense opportunities” for the company. Their strong reception, he explained, has encouraged Lamborghini to consider even more radical takes on future models.

Talking to Autocar, Foschini appeared to be particularly enthusiastic about the Sterrato: “I think that we even didn’t leverage enough on the opportunity, because you can do a lot of stuff with the Sterrato. And I think that in the future, for sure we can introduce at a certain moment in time this opportunity”.
More Radical Directions
He went on to say the market exists, and Lamborghini’s task is simply to “execute” another Sterrato-style project. Crucially, the aim is not to deliver a straightforward upgrade, but to surprise fans with something unexpected. This approach suggests the Sterrato treatment could extend not only to the new Temerario, which replaces the Huracan, but also to the flagship Revuelto.

Our speculative rendering of a future Revuelto Sterrato offers a glimpse at how such a supercar might look. Protective cladding wraps around the bumpers, skirts, and fenders, while extra LEDs light up the nose. Roof rails, a roof scoop, raised ground clearance, and alloy wheels borrowed from the Urus complete the transformation.

The Revuelto comes with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, pairing a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors for a combined 1,001 hp (747 kW / 1,015 PS). A lifted Sterrato-style variant would hardly need more power, but Lamborghini could be developing a hotter edition in the spirit of the Aventador SVJ. That version would likely feature sharper aerodynamics along with chassis and performance upgrades.
What About The Rest Of The Lineup?
The Revuelto isn’t the only Lamborghini candidate for special treatment. Foschini confirmed the brand is “always looking for crazy things in all dimensions,” noting the Urus ST-X race car as proof that wild ideas can make it to production. This could signal even more extreme versions of Lamborghini’s SUV in the future.
As for the Temerario, there are reports about a more hardcore version that could generate over 1,000 horsepower from an upgraded plug-in hybrid V8 powertrain. At the same time, its lineup could grow further with the addition of an entry-level RWD version featuring a detuned hybrid setup.

Finally, beyond introducing more derivatives of its models like Porsche, Lamborghini is betting on the extended personalization services of its Ad Personam division for increasing profitability without hurting exclusivity.
